Repeat after me:

I solemnly swear that I will take care of myself first, and only then I will be able to show up for others.  I will give myself the compassion I didn't get enough of as a baby bandit, and I'll move through my emotions instead of around them.  In times of darkness, I will find little ways to treat myself and check in on my marginalized friends. 

I will practice the art of transforming my painful energy into creating a life of meaning.  I am valid, I am in charge of my humanity,  and I vow that no one can take that away from me.  

Finally, I promise to recycle and take better care of the planet, because while bandits are cute, trash isn't, and change starts with me.
